Overview of story: Puzzled by inconsistencies in the historical accounts of his ancestors with data collected in the archives, king Antiochus is determined to find the truth he believes is being intentionally kept from him. Like pieces of a puzzle, he compiles the stories together, but remains unsatisfied. How could the preceding generation have survived a similar catastrophe that wiped out the ancient dinosaurs? Claiming the earth's human population was once over six billion inhabitants, how was that reduced to two-hundred wandering souls in just one day? Yet in spite of their claimed losses, the survivors would establish four renowned nations; Cynacia, Palacia, Sapphire and Addae. These nations would all excel in genetic engineering and alter to varying extents, the natural aging process. This would enable their generations to live centuries in their prime. The frontier of space would become overshadowed by the quest to unlock the secrets of time manipulation. Yet this generation would unexpectedly encounter time's ancient nemesis in their unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Nonetheless, who and from where was this ancient nemesis and what was he compiling on them?
