Denver is the epicenter of a sinister plot to take over the underworld of drug trafficking. The only clue Denver Police Sergeants Rick Murphy and Eddy Boswell have is an armor-plated black car with the vanity plates MNKYMN, wreaking death on small-time drug dealers and cops alike.

Supervising the Narcotics team, Rick and Eddy hook up with Detective Dave Kramer, a tough Texas cowboy. Together, the three long-time friends search for a new supplier, Monkey Man, a cold-hearted person with a deep-seated hatred of cops. He has big plans for a new drug kingdom with himself as its ruler. The drug supply on the streets is drying up, tempers are on edge, and crime rates soar. Kramer goes deep undercover to learn more.
