When reading these relevant verses, it is important to remember that Israelite prophets wrote in figures, using types and shadows to illustrate their points. From a Twenty-first Century perspective, they were relatively unsophisticated, but remarkably, they were on point with many of their oral health care therapies, as is attested by the scriptures cited in this volume.
