In California, Masyn is known as Ace Madden, the up-and-coming surfer representing the Rip Tide brand and the only athlete lucky enough to be coached by surf superstar, Graham Gentry. But as quickly as Graham Gentry made Ace Madden a household name, he broke her. Now in Ellsworth, Massachusetts, she's just Masyn, empty, angry, and on a mission to never surf again. That is until Tate Houghton latches on to her, and refuses to let go. Tate has his own demons lurking at the bottom of the ocean. Demons that kept him from stepping foot on the sand for over five years until the night he pulls Masyn out of the ocean. In just one look it's clear that he and Masyn are the same.
