Multiple themes emerge throughout this collection-themes such as fantasy, romance, horror, as well as threads of personal and philosophical ideology cropping up now and again. A number of the works presented here were printed in an art/literature magazine, which was developed at the college that the author attended. These works include A Nightlight Pondering, The Thing in the Attic, and Fearless (a Triolet).
