After losing her best friend, Grace, in a tragic accident, Eve just wants to disappear. Grace's grieving mother is only too happy to embrace Eve and wrap her in cake and Bible stories. When Eve discovers she is pregnant, though she has never even kissed a boy, she assumes her newfound faith in God has led her to an Immaculate Conception. Eve's atheist mother is shocked and devastated when Eve announces she must keep this baby to understand why she was chosen, and how it might lead her to peace about Grace.
