Pat is the ideal wife for Carradine, strong, down-to-earth, and solid, determined her man will want for nothing and determined to keep him at all costs. Carradine will never be a one-woman man but he does find enough satisfaction from the three in his life - his amazingly active wife, his whore, who is available when needed, and his mistress, who takes him for a ride as often as possible. He takes his career down the political path but gets caught out by the obsessive behaviour of Elise's one-time assistant and, although it is founded on a misunderstanding, there is enough truth to force his resignation. Can Richard Carradine moderate his sexual appetite and maintain his public profile? It does not quite work out like that.
