She has to seek human help.A lowly and humble woodman is the man she chooses. On the night before Hallowe'en, with a raging storm outside, he has to make his way through a forest to Methusda's abode and pass her Hecate's order to cease her rebellion or face the consequences.And to do it before the dawn of Hallowe'en itself, for that is when Methusda's powers will be too powerful for even Hecate to break.His journey is fraught with danger from supernatural foes conjured up by Methusda.Will he survive the ferocious onslaught released by the wicked Methusda?
