Run, Andre Meidani, Run. But now, there's another problem: no money and significant gambling debts to the wrong people. Then, out of the blue, salvation! Or is it? The Organisation: An international provider of various services (for a price, of course), from mundane assassinations to violent revolutions, wishes to engage an expert marksman. The target: congressional representative George Hedge, running in the US primaries. The Congress Powers consider him a danger to the status quo. George is not needed. Hearing Meidani has the qualifications, The Organisation engages him. Meidani flees back to Europe. Hard-nosed detective Jack Butler was on surveillance guarding Hedge as he flew backwards in a bleeding mess. 'Find that assassin; we want him alive so that he can identify the Organisation.' Captain 'Gabby' Upton, Jack's boss and ex-lover, said to Butler. The chase is on!
