First, to choose works from all over the world to showcase nature's diversity. Second, to choose poetry and prose that show nature's different aspects: the beauty, the darkness, and everything in between. This anthology started as a completely different book and after weeks of work, it evolved into what it is now: an ode to the complexity of humankind's relationship with nature.
