She always plays by the rules... until Slash shows her how fun they are to break.

Kennedy: He's not my type. At all. He's goofy and charming and yeah, sculpted and quite possibly the sexiest man I've ever seen, but he knows it. My mind is made up about Slash. My body, on the other hand, is a treacherous thing.

I can't focus on that right now. I have a case to work on: dismantling and destroying the gang that is running a prostitution ring. I'm only working with Slash and the guys at Chaos for my job.

I can't keep playing these games with Slash. And yet, I can't ignore the way he looks at me. The way he touches me. The way he makes me want to lose control...

Slash: She's all wrong for me, but I do enjoy pushing her buttons and seeing her all worked up. I love when her smoldering eyes narrow and her fists tighten, letting me know she's winding up for a fight.

But there are more important things to think about. Like taking down that prostitution ring once and for all. Yeah, I gotta focus on that. And not on the spitfire of a cop who is making me feel all sorts of foreign things.

She has me thinking about keeping her, protecting her, opening up to her. She has me thinking about forever.
