Most of the events described in the book are true stories. This is a tale of destiny, the pursuit of dreams, and the unpredictability of fate. It is also a love story that tells of other love stories; an account telling the joys of life and the tragedy of death; and a story about the human condition, unchanged from time immemorial. David Franklyn grew up on Grenada with a curiosity to find out what lay beyond the horizons surrounding the Caribbean island.
