Meanwhile, police agencies have been replaced by a new organization known as The Defenders, a special force of individuals who each wear a magical Pistos Gem on their chest that bestows each of them a unique ability for keeping the peace. As The Defenders investigate a series of mysterious abductions, they discover that Agent Zane Sarian's brother Aron--a Temzen employee--is counted among the missing. As these users of tech and magic cross paths, Zane and his team discover that all is not as it seems inside the walls of his brother's workplace.
