Having seen how spiritual healing brought great relief to a dying relative, the narrator chooses to explore it further. A shocking vision of the disappearance of all trees transforms the dynamic and her journey begins. Loosening the grip of the 'safe' house, she seeks remote places where it becomes clear that the trees are ever-present companions and the undeniable catalysts of new experiences. The action is set in the UK, in the reality of north Yorkshire and areas of Scotland, such as the Findhorn Foundation and the Isle of Skye. In addition to the Trees, the participants are Birds and other Beings; through them hidden realms become visible and daily reality is discovered to be only one part of the story. The book contains twenty colour photos of the trees, birds and places that feature in the text. If you love trees, you will very likely love this book!
