This book covers the methodology of its synthesis and further characterization of these polymers. The absorbent polymers are discussed in detail in different solution like water, glucose, saline and also under different pH conditions. The book shows the variation of swelling with different cross-linkers and initiator concentration. It also discusses the trends observed in swelling with time. The affect have been studied to bring out the probability of using these in various areas for biomedical application. This book is important for scientist and researcher working in the area of developing and tailoring properties of polymers.
