The doping of europium ions into the barium titanate lattice introduces luminescent properties, enabling applications in fields such as optoelectronics, photonics, and bioimaging.The optical properties of BaTiO3:Eu nanocomposites, including photoluminescence and electroluminescence, are highly tunable based on the concentration of europium dopants and the surrounding environment. Moreover, the ferroelectric nature of barium titanate nanoparticles contributes to enhanced electrical properties, making them suitable for use in capacitors, sensors, and memory devices.
