We, along with the overworked Detective Donner, are left wondering who it is, and why he's carrying on his persistent rampage against his random victims.
This book is quite the page-turner, written as it is in a very spare, economical style, with never a superfluous word. To tell you any more about it would spoil your enjoyment. Go ahead. Settle down and enjoy the aptly-titled SPLIT.
