The town of Silver Falls is shaken when Michael, a high school student, is dragged into the woods by three students and severely attacked. The leader of the group, Lionel Bestick, beats Michael with his steel toed boots and a rusted pipe. The two other boys are frozen, and unwilling to stop what is happening.
