The story/play has moments of comedy and moments of sadness. If you want to learn about the history of the oldest (1493) established part of the U.S. this is the book. The story/play contains several songs written by the author Jose Lopez Ortega, Puerto Rican folk singer Ramito and gospel song writers and performers Bill and Gloria Gaither, to use if you choose to perform the play rather than just reading the story.
