This collection of articles by literary critic and essayist E. Pogorelova includes articles on Russian literature of the 2000s-2010s. Her main trends, texts and names are considered in the context of a gradual convergence of "high" and "mass" art, in the light of the evolution of both individual writers and whole literary movements from the existence in a closed community for the initiated, which is typical for the literature of the 1990s, to a rapprochement towards the reader, to a frank conversation with him and, ultimately, to literature with a human face. The author focuses on writers and poets such as M. Galina, A. Ivanov, E. Chizhova, O. Chukhontsev and others.
