Rina experiences a mixture of emotions as she is reminded not only of all the commonalities that she shared with the victims, including double initials, but also of a childhood that she has tried desperately to forget. Up against seasoned defense attorney Thomas Cugino, who is a local legend, and with very little evidence against the defendant, Rina finds herself looking to her past in an attempt to convict the killer. What she doesn't know is just how many secrets she is about to uncover and just how intertwined her own life is with this case.
