Having ministered to the sick and dying, walked with their families, and officiated funerals during her tenure as pastor, Reverend Alyce Spells Kelly is familiar with a lack of readiness experienced by many regarding not just the emotional and spiritual, but also practical matters before death. This book offers biblical insight on The Eighth Day journey, and a mini-handbook on practical issues to help with final decisions and arrangements. Retired from pastoral ministry in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 2014 The Reverend Alyce Spells Kelly remains involved in Church and society as conference speaker, preacher, teacher, writer, and prophetic voice. She is a dynamic speaker and writer with authenticity that allows her to walk with others in their sacred spaces. The Eighth Day is her second book. Her first book is The Golden Boom: A Message of Hope and Promise to The Baby Boomer Generation.
