Place of publication assumed by cataloger from text. Year of publication from date of issue. Title page includes table of contents. Correpondence in the Jan. issue, prompted by the Prospectus, indicates that this is the first number to be published. Letter on first page of text reads in part: "[the magazine] affords us a cheap way of sending all Indian news to our friends at home".
