Mrs. Joyce Houston was born and raised in Newburgh N.Y. She came from a big family where she is the youngest. Her husband and children are wonderful, and she thanks God for everything throughout her entire life. The author is sickly yet she is able to be creative and loves to write. Writing sooths her and allows her to escape the everyday drama. The author is a lover of gospel music and instrumentals. She love football, basketball, and skating. Her life has been full of experience and she learned a lot on this journey. Her mom and dad are a blessing and still overprotective of their kids. She loves it. Just to know you never grow up to your parents. Her brothers and sisters have their own lives; but she get to see my brother Jerry everyday to play spades. Author really love to say thank you to those who read her poems even if they borrowed the book. She'd rather know it's read than just sits on a shelf. As for my for her very good and long time dear friend Nicole E. Jackson who was responsible for helping her put together this book of poems. She has designed the book cover and has typed up everything. Nicole has done this project for Mrs. Joyce with no questions asked. In fact she was more than glad to do this for the author.
