In modern business it is often necessary to provide access to the same Web objects (text, tables, images, lists, links, etc.) to groups of users geographically remote from each other. Distributed data processing - data processing performed on independent but interconnected computers representing a distributed system. Distributed database technology includes fragments, located on different nodes of the network, allowing to organize processing of distributed data, which from the users' point of view look like a single whole. The purpose of teaching the discipline is to prepare a specialist possessing fundamental knowledge and practical skills in technologies of processing, storage and use of data in management and marketing in accordance with the requirements of qualification characteristics and basic technologies of building Web-sites for e-business and commerce.
