This is a Fictional/Biography story about wolves and me. When I was young, about thirteen, I realized that a wolf was my guardian animal. I have loved them my whole life. This book is a way for me to get the good word out about them. I wrote WHAT LIES BENEATH THE SHADOWS as a true story about wolves. A lot of people today are quick to jump to conclusions about them. Wolves are fading fast from the United States. I am hoping that once people see what I have gone through they will think before they act. Killing when you see a wolf is inhumane. Also, they are very good for us. They are also our close brothers. Being a Chippewa Indian, I know how close the wolves are to us. I was fourteen when I wrote this. My grandfather died when I was thirteen. Most of the information in this book is prior knowledge of what I know happened and what is left to happen. People that read this book will better understand what wolves are and their inner beauty. Wolves don't deserve what they are getting. For all those that like to read adventure books or love wildlife this is the book for you. I go through a world on my own to save the creatures that I care about. It was hard to understand at the time but I knew that I would need all of my strength, and the help of others. It would take me a while to find my true calling but it came to me in the oddest way.
