What should they do?This was my first novel, written in 1985 during the Cold War. Tom Clancy was very popular with "The Hunt for Red October" and was my inspiration. I think my story is still pertinent today, and as a historical novel, represents the apprehension all Americans lived with back then. With the Russian Federation is becoming more hostile these days, and we know their leaders are ruthless. Perhaps it is good to remember the Cold War and what could still happen.
